RYBL REP
Making a strong push forward into REP Basketball in British Columbia, Richmond Youth Basketball League will be entering teams into the Basketball BC Metro League and Lower Mainland tournaments during the Spring Season. Richmond Youth Basketball League REP Programs are geared for girls and boys who are interested in playing competitive basketball. The program helps players maximize their skills through additional practices and games against other competitive basketball teams from across the lower mainland. Participants selected to these teams will represent Richmond and will also have the opportunity to increase game awareness and physical fitness skills.
HOW DOES THE REP PROGRAM DIFFER FROM HOUSE LEAGUE BASKETBALL?
RYBL REP basketball demands more time of a player, and as a result, the parents' time. The game is much faster and much more physically demanding. During ALL games, all players play equal time regardless of their ability. Richmond Youth Basketball League’s philosophy runs under the umbrella of Basketball BC and therefore believes that all players should be guided and given the opportunity to realize their full potential. All players receive equal time on the court.
